SFIC is one of leading manufacturers of melt-and-pour soap base. Their bases are among the most natural, with very few added chemicals and no preservatives. (Don't you love it when you can pronounce all of the ingredients easily?)

The oatmeal soap base combines their standard soap base with added oatmeal for gentleness and slight exfoliation.

Packaged in either a resealable 2-lb. tub or two 1-lb. shrinkwrapped blocks, depending on availability (manufacturer has changed their packaging).

SPECIAL NOTE - because of the added oatmeal, the manufacturer recommends melting the entire block of this soap base at once, then letting it cool as long as possible before stirring and pouring, in order to keep the oatmeal suspended throughout the finished soaps. Partial amounts can be melted, but the soap block must be divided up carefully since all of the oatmeal is on one end.
